Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Senior to join our Compliance Advisory team. In this cross-functional role, you will provide advisory and consulting services to governmental, tribal, private, and not-for-profit organizations, with a focus on grant management and compliance, internal controls, and the development and enhancement of policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, public administration, or related field.
• Master’s in Accounting, MBA, or MPA preferred.
• CPA, CIA, CGMA, CFE, or other relevant designation preferred.
• Familiarity with GAGAS/Yellow Book and Uniform Guidance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support grant compliance monitoring programs and subrecipient reviews.
• Lead grant compliance reviews and develop actionable findings.
• Perform internal control reviews and operational assessments.
• Develop and enhance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Conduct interviews and document analyses for client deliverables.
• Collaborate with clients to strengthen compliance and operations.
• Communicate project status and results to teams and clients.
• Review work of junior team members to ensure quality delivery.
