You will report to the Senior Manager, Legal, work with management and attorney teams, and oversee file strategy, reserving practices, and compliance with professional responsibility rules.

Qualifikationen

• Experience preparing civil pleadings, motions, discovery, and depositions.
• Solid understanding of Professional Responsibility rules.
• Knowledge of tort, contract, and insurance law.
• Admitted to the state bar in the candidate's location, or within required time.
• Juris Doctor degree required.

• Proactively managing Outside Counsel.
• Holding outside counsel accountable for company requirements.
• Implementing strategies to drive files toward resolution.
• Developing defense strategies across file lifecycles.
• Adhering to litigation best practices.
• Timely escalation and reporting on files.
• Collaborate with management and attorney teams on strategy and reserving.
• Present files to senior leadership.
• Manage file cycle and timely closing.
• Implement reserving practices and adjust reserves.
• Early recognition of coverage issues and drafting RORs.
