Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP seeks a senior-level associate (7-9 years) to join our Chambers-ranked product liability team, defending high-stakes matters of national and international significance with a focus on aviation and transportation.

Candidates should have excellent writing, experience guiding cases through all stages of litigation, strong academic credentials, and clerkship experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills demonstrated through clerkship, law review, moot court, or publication.
• Experience managing cases and teams through all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions, experts, and trial.
• Ability to manage complex cases with minimal oversight.
• Superior academic credentials and references.
• Willingness to commit to excellent client service and a client-centered practice.
• Comfort with analyzing complex legal issues, e.g., jurisdictional, choice-of-law, admiralty law.
• Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level, is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
