Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a senior-level associate (7–9 years) to join its Chambers-ranked product liability team. The role focuses on defending clients in high-stakes, complex litigation with national and international significance, including aviation and transportation matters.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent writing skills, experience leading cases and teams, and a willingness to commit to excellent client service in a highly collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 7–9 years of experience as a senior associate in litigation.
• Experience managing cases and teams through all stages of litigation (discovery, motions, experts, trial).
• Strong writing ability demonstrated by clerkship, law review, moot court, or publications.
• Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level, strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defend clients in high-stakes, complex litigation matters of national and international significance.
• Manage cases and teams through all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions practice, experts, and trial.
• Analyze complex legal issues such as jurisdictional and choice-of-law questions, including admiralty law issues.
