AIG is seeking a Complex Claims Director for Management Liability to lead handling of top-tier Directors & Officers liability claims, with potential involvement in Employment Practices Liability and Fiduciary claims. You will bring deep technical expertise, oversee programs, and guide teams across stakeholders while making sound risk-based decisions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience handling complex insurance claims, with management liability experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong negotiation skills.
• Advanced experience in litigation claims management including ADR/mediation.
• Experience attending and controlling cases from pre-suit to settlement and post-trial.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of high-severity D&O claims and potentially EPL and Fiduciary Liability claims.
• Oversee programs and processes; make decisions using data, analysis and judgment.
• Communicate with insureds, brokers and underwriters; manage expectations.
• Negotiate multi-million dollar claims with top plaintiff attorneys; document strategy.
