Job summary

American International Group, Inc. is seeking a Complex Claims Director for Miscellaneous Professional Liability to manage top-tier, high-exposure claims across professional, privacy and media tech areas.

You will oversee claims from inception to resolution, set reserves, and coordinate with defense counsel, vendors and insureds while maintaining budget controls and strong client service. A JD is preferred and a bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Strong track record handling complex insurance claims, litigation or related experience.
• Ability to analyze policies and legal documents.
• Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of litigation/arbitration processes.

Responsibilities

• Make coverage determinations, investigate losses, evaluate and project exposures.
• Present cases, set reserves, and develop resolution strategies.
• Budget and strategize litigation with counsel, vendors and insureds.
• Collaborate with underwriting to deliver value to customers and partners.
