Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Senior Complex Casualty Claims Resolution Specialist for the Southwest Region. You will own severe auto and homeowner's casualty claims, steer strategy, and work closely with counsel through mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of complex casualty experience, strong negotiation skills, and a solid grasp of relevant state and federal laws. The role supports hybrid work with some in-office presence near Scottsdale, AZ.

Qualifications

• Must have advanced knowledge of coverage, liability, and complex claims handling procedures.
• Must be knowledgeable of state and federal laws in the adjuster's jurisdiction.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 5-7 years of directly related experience.
• Ability to obtain proper licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage investigation, evaluation, and resolution of complex auto and homeowner's casualty claims.
• Assess coverage, liability, and damages; recommend settlement strategies and escalate for authority review.
• Collaborate with trial counsel; attend mediations, arbitrations, trials, hearings, and conferences.
• Prepare detailed litigation and trial reports for local management and Home Office.
• Maintain reserves and oversee billing practices of outside and in-house counsel.
