Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years prior claims experience in property, auto, casualty or related areas.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance claims processes and subrogation principles.
• Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with claims software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations to determine liability and damages.
• Identify and obtain statements from insureds, claimants and witnesses.
• Negotiate settlements within authority for complex claims.
• Coordinate with internal/external departments on claims handling.
• Mentor junior adjusters and assist with adjudication of difficult cases.
