Job summary

Vault Risk Management Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Claims Leader to adjudicate complex litigated claims across high-net-worth portfolios. You will review policies, lead investigations, and negotiate settlements with policyholders and counsel.

The role requires 10+ years of casualty claims experience, JD preferred, and strong analytical and negotiation skills. Hybrid work is available in Dallas, Chicago, or Tampa with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 10+ years of claims adjusting experience in complex casualty.
• Experience with liability, property damage, and bodily injury; familiarity with litigation processes.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills essential for high-stakes settlements.
• JD preferred; CPCU, AIC, or related designations are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate complex litigated claims from inception to resolution with accuracy.
• Review policies to identify provisions and draft coverage position letters.
• Lead investigations: gather evidence, interview witnesses, coordinate with experts.
• Negotiate settlements with policyholders, claimants, and counsel to manage costs.
• Assess risk exposure and report trends to management; propose mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with underwriting and product teams; manage TPAs.
• Support nationwide litigation: select/manage counsel, assist in discovery.
• Maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients and brokers; ensure clear communication.
• Document all claim activities per company standards.
