Job summary

Progressive is seeking a senior claims specialist to investigate complex and high-risk injury claims, including attorney-represented cases, coordinating with police, medical professionals, claimants, and others to determine coverage, liability and total value. This hybrid role requires reporting to an office about four days per month for meetings and training; in-office work is welcome beyond four days.

Minimum qualifications include five years in claims handling with two in the field, or two

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling.
• Two years in claims handling with a bachelor’s degree.
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years in claims handling and an associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Investigate complex and high-risk injury claims, including attorney-represented cases.
• Consult with police, medical professionals, claimants and others involved in the accident.
• Assess coverage, liability and total claim value using gathered information.
• Collaborate with legal and medical teams to resolve claims efficiently.
