Job summary

Vault is seeking an experienced Complex Casualty Claims Adjuster to manage high-value commercial and high-net-worth personal lines from initial report through resolution. This hybrid role requires three days per week in Dallas, TX (coming soon!), with potential to work from other designated offices.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of claims adjusting experience, deep knowledge of liability and coverage provisions, and exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in claims adjusting, focusing on litigated complex casualty claims in commercial and high-net-worth personal lines.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Deep understanding of insurance coverage, claims processes, and policy provisions related to casualty claims.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate complex litigated high net worth and excess liability claims from inception to resolution.
• Review policies to identify coverage and draft position letters.
• Lead investigations, gather evidence, interview witnesses, and coordinate with experts.
• Negotiate settlements with policyholders, claimants, and counsel while managing costs.
• Assess risk and report trends to management to improve claim resolution processes.
• Communicate with underwriting, product development, and senior leadership; manage TPAs and defense counsel.
