Job summary

Woodward is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst based in Illinois to deliver market-based compensation programs aligned with business strategy. You will partner with HR leaders on pay decisions, job evaluations, and ensuring pay equity across the organization.

Reporting to the Director of Compensation, you will help drive salary planning, merit cycles, and governance of the Career Framework while maintaining compliance with laws and internal policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a corporate compensation role.
• Strong ability to translate data into actionable compensation recommendations.
• Experience with HR systems such as Workday, SAP or SuccessFactors.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on compensation programs, market competitiveness, pay decisions and job evaluations.
• Lead external compensation surveys and ensure accurate market pricing for roles.
• Support annual compensation processes including salary planning and merit cycles.
