Woodward is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst in Rockford, IL to design and deliver market-based compensation programs aligned with our business strategy and talent objectives. This role reports to the Director of Compensation and requires strong analytical skills, compensation expertise, and cross-functional collaboration across HR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, HR or related field.
• 5+ years related work experience in a corporate compensation department.
• Strong partnerships with leaders, HR Business Partners and stakeholders on compensation matters.
• Ability to translate compensation data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience with HR systems (Workday/SuccessFactors/SAP).

Responsabilités

• Serve as a trusted compensation consultant to HR Business Partners on compensation programs and market competitiveness.
• Collaborate with HR partners to align compensation with business objectives and Total Rewards philosophy.
• Conduct compensation analyses including job evaluation and market pricing; deliver insights and recommendations.
• Benchmark positions using salary surveys and market intelligence for competitive pay ranges.
• Lead external compensation surveys, ensure accurate job matching and pricing data.
• Support governance of the enterprise Career Framework, job architecture, and market alignment.
• Assist with annual compensation programs: planning, merit cycles, system configuration, and reporting.
• Support annual and quarterly incentive programs: documentation, payouts, and communications.
• Ensure compliance with pay equity, wage and hour regulations, and governance standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve compensation processes, tools, and analytics.
