Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Compensation to join our Total Rewards team and lead compensation analysis, benchmarking, and consulting for executives and business leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Compensation or Finance or Analytics.
• At least 5 years of experience in client management or consulting.
• At least 2 years of people management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with Excel and developing data-based stories in PowerPoint or Slides.

Responsibilities

• Consult with HR Business Partners and leaders regularly, providing expert compensation guidance and recommendations.
• Deliver expert compensation consulting and develop proposals and presentations about compensation programs to influence and educate senior level decision-makers.
• Perform deep analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of compensation programs.
• Conduct benchmarking and job evaluation using market data and internal evaluation.
• Serve as primary compensation point of contact to executives and internal partners within client groups.
• Coach more junior team members to provide analytical and strategic support to client area.
• Lead mid-year and year-end compensation cycles for assigned client groups.
• Lead strategic compensation projects, key initiatives or processes horizontally across client groups.
• Collaborate with recruiters to develop competitive offer packages for external hires.
