MFS is seeking an experienced compensation expert in Boston to own complex compensation programs and deliver data-driven guidance. You will collaborate with HR, Finance, and leadership to ensure market-aligned, auditable practices.

Ideal candidates have 6–8+ years of experience, strong Excel modeling skills, and a solid grasp of market data to inform decisions. This role supports a hybrid work environment and broad Total Rewards initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related area.
• 6–8+ years of experience in compensation, financial analysis or closely related analytical discipline.
• Strong analytical capability with experience using market data and analytics to inform recommendations and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Owns and leads complex compensation programs, processes, or functional capabilities, operating independently within established frameworks.
• Applies deep compensation knowledge to evaluate issues, identify risks, and develop practical solutions.
• Leverages compensation analytics and external market data to assess competitiveness, internal equity, and program effectiveness.
• Interprets data and trends to develop insights, scenarios, and recommendations that inform compensation decisions and planning.
• Provides senior-level consultation to HR partners, Finance, and business stakeholders on compensation matters.
• Ensures compensation programs and processes are executed with controls, documentation, and governance.
• Continuously evaluates compensation processes, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Leads mid-to-large compensation projects, managing scope, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder engagement.
• Works collaboratively across the Compensation team, sharing expertise and guiding junior team members.
