Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking a Compensation Analyst to plan, develop, and implement compensation programs that support the company's growth and competitive pay practices.

You will partner with HR, finance, and business leaders to ensure accurate data, compliant processes, and effective communication across all levels. Responsibilities include benchmarking, pay grade design, incentive planning, and preparing executive-level reports with clear insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or finance preferred.
• 5+ years of compensation administration experience preferred.
• Experience with external market analysis and interpreting market data.
• Experience with SuccessFactors compensation module preferred.
• Retail or customer-facing compensation design experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Administers compensation programs for workforce and incentive plans.
• Acts as internal consultant on competitive pay strategies and pay-for-performance.
• Benchmarks internal jobs to assign pay grades and bonus targets.
• Participates in surveys to validate pay structures and trends.
• Assigns job titles and levels to standardize titles and career paths.
• Prepares executive-level reports with data-driven insights.
• Ensures HRIS data integrity and business rule development with HRIS team.
• Develops communications on budgets, policies, and incentive plans.
• Creates training materials and facilitates sessions for supervisors and managers.
• Collaborates with HR partners, finance, and vendors to align compensation programs.
