Job summary

John Muir Health is seeking an experienced Compensation Manager to oversee the design, development, and implementation of compensation programs across exempt and non-exempt roles. You will participate in market surveys, analyze pay structures, and deliver communications that support organizational change in pay practices.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (healthcare considered in lieu), 5+ years in compensation leadership, and strong proficiency with HRIS (Workday preferred) and salary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; healthcare experience considered in lieu of a degree.
5+ years managing compensation programs for exempt/non-exempt staff and executives.
2+ years in leadership of the compensation function.
Proficiency with HRIS platforms; Workday preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop compensation programs, policies and procedures.
Lead survey participation and analysis to keep salaries competitive.
Communicate change management initiatives related to pay practices.
Document business practices for HRIS upgrades and process improvements.
Identify training needs and lead or participate in compensation training.
Plan departmental training on application usage and workflows.
