Job summary

Alera Group, a national insurance and financial services firm, is seeking a Compensation Consultant to design scalable, national pay programs. You’ll lead initiatives from discovery through implementation, focusing on career paths, job architecture and leveling, and Workday integrations.

Reporting to the VP of Compensation, you’ll partner with HR, Finance and Legal to translate designs into practical solutions and governance across a remote, nationwide organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in broad-based compensation, job architecture or related field.
• Experience designing and implementing compensation solutions including career paths and job levels.
• Strong knowledge of salary structures, market pricing and internal equity.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex compensation projects from discovery through design and implementation.
• Develop career paths, job levels and progression frameworks with leaders.
• Clarify needs in sessions with executives and HR partners and document decisions.
• Research market practices and conduct pricing to inform recommendations.
• Translate designs into clear business requirements and communications.
