Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a seasoned Compensation professional to oversee market pricing, job evaluation, and internal equity across the enterprise. You will manage salary surveys, analyze pay data, and ensure alignment with the CHRISTUS compensation philosophy.

Responsibilities include leading complex projects, collaborating with HR and finance, and communicating salary actions in a timely, compliant manner. Travel may be required for cross-location coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, finance or related field.
• 5 years of compensation experience, preferably healthcare.
• Advanced understanding of FLSA and wage-hour legislation.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience managing large-scale compensation projects across complex organizations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market pricing/benchmarking of jobs and ad hoc reviews.
• Responsible for annual salary survey data submissions.
• Conduct internal equity analysis across ministries, facilities and locations.
• Analyze competitive positioning across the enterprise.
• Perform job analysis, evaluation, and classification to maintain accurate leveling and FLSA classification.
• Evaluate new/revised job descriptions for alignment with essential functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address compensation inquiries and workforce planning.
• Manage multiple ticket queues within SLAs.
• Prepare/analyze complex issues to deliver leadership-ready recommendations.
• Provide cost analysis for premium pay practices and shift differentials.
• Communicate approved salary actions per guidelines and market data.
