Job summary

Larimer County’s Department of Human Services seeks a Community Support Manager to lead outreach and supervise Community Support Specialists delivering food, medical, and financial assistance across Larimer County. The role focuses on staffing, schedules, and partnerships to expand access to public benefits.

You'll develop plans, guide policy interpretation, and ensure program integrity while mentoring staff and working with community partners to improve service delivery in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) year of supervisory experience required.
• Three (3) years of experience in eligibility and support programs or a directly related field required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the activities and personnel of food assistance, medical assistance, and financial assistance.
• Working with partner agencies to increase access to public benefits for community members.
• Responsible for developing and implementing plans, priorities, procedures, and guidelines.
• Hiring, trains, and evaluates staff.
• Assigning and adjusting workloads to meet department deadlines and client needs.
• Reviewing case documentation and actions.
• Advising and assisting staff on problem cases, work methods, control systems, and interpretation and application of policies and procedures.
• Ensuring integrity, uniformity, and accuracy of benefits and policy application.
• Evaluating and ensuring program complaint and recommending automated system modifications.
• Analyzing, interpreting, and providing input regarding county and state program policies and procedures.
