Job summary

Larimer County Department of Human Services seeks a Deputy Division Manager for the Benefits and Community Support Division. This hybrid role manages multiple programs, oversees planning and service delivery, and participates in leadership initiatives within the division.

The position requires 3–6 years in child support or court administration with supervisory leadership, strong relationship-building, and adherence to county rules. Regular attendance and valid driver's license are expected.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of progressive child support or court administration experience with supervisory leadership.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with county staff, agencies, and the community.
• Regular, predictable attendance.
• Knowledge of eligibility and public assistance program rules.
• Understanding supervisory principles and management methods.

Responsibilities

• Oversees policy and procedure standards and evaluates program performance.
• Develops and manages the division's standard training program.
• Facilitates staff/supervisor meetings and coordinates cross-department collaboration.
• Reviews and evaluates programs; recommends restructures of programs and staffing.
• Assists supervisors in resolving complex complaints and conflicts.
• Participates in local and state committees related to the programs.
