Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Sr. Commissioning Manager to lead site commissioning across multiple projects.

The role requires deep experience with CxAlloy, scheduling, and team leadership, with travel to project sites as needed. You will oversee commissioning scope, databases, and documentation, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with owners, vendors, and site teams to deliver systems that meet specifications and client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 8 years of related experience.
• Advanced experience with CxAlloy and scheduling tools.
• Willingness to travel 100% for project deployments.
• Minimum 6 years in commissioning or project management.
• At least 3 years setting up CxAlloy databases and drafting commissioning plans.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and manage relationships with owners and partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Site Commissioning team and train members.
• Define commissioning scope, resources, timelines, and budgets with project executives.
• Review subcontractor scope to ensure adequate commissioning coverage.
• Develop and maintain the commissioning database and documentation.
• Lead onsite commissioning meetings with site teams and trade partners.
• Ensure equipment and systems meet specifications and client needs.
• Manage commissioning checklists, scheduling, and startup reports.
• Maintain cost awareness for commissioning services and assess changes.
