Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Sr. Commissioning Manager to lead site commissioning efforts for diverse projects. The role requires extensive experience in commissioning across disciplines, strong leadership, and hands-on mentoring of project teams.

Travel is 100% with responsibility to establish commissioning scope, resources, timelines, and budgets from project onset to completion. The position offers growth in a dynamic, design-build environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years related experience or equivalent combination.
• Advanced experience with CxAlloy and scheduling tools.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time.
• Minimum 6 years commissioning or project management experience.
• Minimum 2 years leading commissioning across disciplines.
• 3+ years setting up CxAlloy Commissioning databases and writing commissioning plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Site Commissioning team and provide training.
• Define commissioning scope, resources, timelines, and budgets with project executives.
• Review Subcontractor scope to ensure commissioning coverage.
• Train site teams in CxAlloy and commissioning databases.
• Develop and approve commissioning plans and checklists.
• Manage commissioning databases and import submittal data.
• Generate status reports and provide feedback on deficiencies.
• Lead on-site commissioning meetings with partners.
• Develop commissioning schedules with site teams.
• Attend pre-construction meetings and clarify roles.
