Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Sr. Commissioning Manager to lead and supervise the site commissioning team, develop commissioning plans, and coordinate with project leadership.

The role requires extensive CxAlloy experience, strong mentoring skills, and the ability to travel 100% of the time across projects. Responsibilities include establishing commissioning scopes, reviewing subcontractor scopes, training teams, and generating status reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus eight years of commissioning and/or project management experience.
• Advanced experience with CxAlloy and scheduling applications.
• Must travel 100% of the time.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Site Commissioning team and provide training for career development.
• Meet with Project executives, directors, and managers at project onset to establish scope, resources, timelines and budgets.
• Review Subcontractor Exhibit A scope to ensure commissioning needs are covered.
• Train Site teams in using CxAlloy Commissioning database.
• Assist in reviewing and approving commissioning plans.
• Manage Commissioning database for assigned project(s) including setup and permissions.
• Perform audits on project sites to assess commissioning performance.
• Generate commissioning status reports and provide feedback on deficiencies.
• Lead onsite commissioning meetings with site team and trade partners.
• Develop commissioning schedules with the Site team and participate in pre-construction discussions.
• Ensure equipment and systems are installed and functioning per specifications.
