Job summary

Gray Construction seeks a Senior Commissioning Manager to lead site commissioning on complex projects. The role requires coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, and owners to ensure commissioning scope and schedules are met.

The ideal candidate brings extensive commissioning and project management experience, strong CxAlloy skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff while traveling 100% of the time. This role emphasizes ownership and client-focused execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a four-year college or university or equivalent experience.
• Advanced experience with CxAlloy and scheduling applications.
• Willingness to travel 100% of the time.
• Minimum of six years of commissioning and/or project management experience.
• Minimum of two years managing all disciplines for commissioning projects.
• Three years setting up CxAlloy Commissioning databases and developing commissioning plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Site Commissioning team and train staff.
• Define commissioning scope, resources, timelines, and budgets with project leaders.
• Review Subcontractor Exhibit A to ensure adequate commissioning scope.
• Develop and maintain CxAlloy database and commissioning checklists.
• Lead onsite commissioning meetings with site team and trade partners.
• Develop commissioning schedule with Site team.
• Attend Pre-construction meetings and assign roles and responsibilities for commissioning.
• Monitor costs and fees for Gray's commissioning services.
• Ensure equipment meets specifications and client needs.
