Job summary

ENFRA Solutions seeks a Team Manager to lead multidisciplinary teams overseeing Technical Services (TS), retro-commissioning (RCx), and new building commissioning (Cx) within Energy-as-a-Service programs. This role drives technical excellence, operational performance, and client satisfaction across the full project lifecycle.

Projects span complex, multi-building portfolios in higher education and healthcare environments, demanding strong leadership, schedule discipline, and deep HVAC controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or 4 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• 6+ years of experience in HVAC controls, design, energy management, or other relevant fields and 2+ years of leadership experience concurrently.
• Experience supporting portfolio-level projects, including commissioning and retro-commissioning of complex MEP systems, with a strong understanding of system integration, performance verification, and operational optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to apply strong analytical thinking and advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently and deliver results with minimal oversight.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of 4-6 team members and their daily activities.
• Actively participate in the development of scope, technical approach, staffing plan, and estimates for new projects.
• Establish project execution plans to achieve the intended project outcome within the established budgets and schedule timeframes.
• Develop and maintain monthly cost forecasts for all assigned projects.
• Develop and manage schedule for assigned scopes; integrate tasks with master project schedule.
• Maintain familiarity with project scope deviations; inform team of potential risk, constraints, schedule, or budget updates.
• Coordinate with the Technical Services Director regularly to ensure staff utilization and skill sets are optimal.
• Track energy performance for assigned scopes; ensure performance targets are met.
• Coordinate with project team to ensure requirements for assigned scopes are documented and communicated.
• Collaborate with energy management team to prioritize responses to existing conditions and issues.
• Proactively address impediments to achieving project outcomes with leadership and teams.
• Develop and train assigned resources to ensure required skills are available for execution.
