Job summary

Busey is seeking a Senior Commercial Underwriter II in Phoenix to provide accurate credit underwriting aiding portfolio management and new business development for assigned Relationship Managers.

You will analyze financial statements, cash flow, liquidity and leverage; prepare CCAR memos; evaluate collateral and industry data; and support portfolio reviews with minimal supervision.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Business or Finance and at least five years of commercial credit experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Business or Finance.
• 5+ years of Commercial Credit experience.
• 2+ years in the Commercial Underwriter role.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial statement analysis and ratio calculations per guidelines.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to prepare CCAR memos.
• Evaluate collateral and industry data to assess credit risk.
• Assist with portfolio management duties and monitoring reports.
• Participate in pipeline meetings and support loan decisions within authority.
