Job summary

Everon seeks an experienced field service technician to support routine and emergency service calls, troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment, and provide high-quality customer support. The role requires expertise in security systems and the ability to train others, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.

The technician will manage documentation, perform system testing, and maintain inventory, with flexibility for on-call work and travel as needed to meet customer demands.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in related roles.
• Mastery of commercial intrusion, fire, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
• Full knowledge of local/national codes.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a drug screen.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergency service calls, troubleshoots, replaces, and/or repairs malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.
• Proctors, coaches, and teaches others as needed.
• Provides reliable, high quality customer support and instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Performs system testing and signal verification.
• Maintains truck stock/inventory of equipment and tools.
• Organizes resources to ensure efficient task execution.
• Ensures progress and completion of assigned tasks and submits documentation timely.
• Willingness to take on additional projects as assigned.
