Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Commercial Roofing Project Manager in Halethorpe, MD to oversee multiple roofing projects from estimating to closeout. This on-site role requires coordinating field operations, schedules, budgets, materials, subcontractors, and customer expectations.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, with experience in commercial construction and reading blueprints. On-site duties include daily reporting and site visits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a dedicated Project Manager role.
• Experience in commercial construction, roofing, or related trades.
• Experience managing projects through full lifecycle and coordinating field operations.
• Ability to read basic blueprints, plans, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial roofing projects from estimating handoff through completion.
• Develop and maintain schedules, phasing plans, and purchase orders.
• Track costs, budgets, and profitability via reviews.
• Coordinate manpower, subcontractors, vendors, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct site visits and attend project meetings as needed.
• Maintain client communication on schedules, progress, and needs.
• Close out projects with complete documentation and client handover.
