Job summary

Nations Roof in Halethorpe, MD is seeking a Commercial Roofing Project Manager to oversee projects from estimating handoff to closeout. This on-site role requires leadership, organization, and accountability, with growth toward full project ownership as you prove capability.

The position demands 2+ years in a PM role, knowledge of commercial construction processes, and strong communication skills. You’ll coordinate schedules, costs, vendors, and client relations daily.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a dedicated Project Manager role.
• Experience in commercial construction process and bid work.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand specs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Willingness to travel overnight.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to learn PM software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project schedules, phasing plans, and purchase orders.
• Track and control job costs through ECAC and WIP reviews.
• Coordinate manpower, subcontractors, and materials for assigned projects.
• Perform plan and specification takeoffs for new construction and re-roofing projects.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding scheduling, progress, and project needs.
• Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and inventory management on assigned projects.
• Participate in pre-job and pre-construction meetings and complete all required project closeout documentation.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support repeat business and long-term partnerships.
