Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Commercial Roofing Project Manager for its Phoenix team. You will lead multiple commercial roofing projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, on-schedule delivery, and budget compliance while meeting quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years' experience in commercial roofing project management, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with customers, general contractors, field crews, vendors, and internal teams to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial roofing or related construction.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, BUR, coatings, metal).
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial roofing projects from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and costs.
• Coordinate with customers, general contractors, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments.
• Monitor progress to meet timelines, budgets, safety, and quality standards.
• Oversee material ordering, deliveries, equipment, and subcontractor coordination.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, documentation, and scope changes.
• Conduct jobsite visits and communicate with field leadership.
• Identify challenges and develop proactive solutions.
• Review drawings, specs, scopes of work, and contracts.
• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout projects.
• Assist with closeout, punch lists, warranties, and final docs.
• Provide leadership and support to project teams for successful execution.
