Gilder Search Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Service Manager to lead and grow a commercial roofing service operation in the Baltimore market. This role oversees service operations, field personnel, customer relationships, estimating, profitability, and department performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial roofing background, proven leadership, and the ability to build lasting client relationships while driving revenue and operational success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial roofing experience, preferably in service/operations/estimation.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, repair procedures, preventive maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead a service department and develop client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily commercial roofing service operations across office, field, and sales.
• Drive department revenue, profitability, gross margins, and growth.
• Review and qualify incoming service requests and work orders.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, roof surveys, and maintenance reports.
• Oversee scheduling and coordination of service crews.
• Maintain pricing, invoicing, payroll, job costing, and reporting.
