Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial lending or relationship management experience.
• Current loan portfolio of $50M–$75M with emphasis on C&I lending.
• Strong knowledge of lending regulations, credit procedures and risk management.
• Bachelor's degree required; banking school is a plus.
• Ability to develop new business without reliance on inherited portfolio.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and advisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a plan to grow a commercial loan and deposit portfolio in the Austin metro market.
• Build consultative relationships by delivering thoughtful banking solutions.
• Source new commercial relationships via direct calling, COI relationships, referrals, and market intelligence.
• Manage flow of loan and deposit requests through internal channels.
• Structure, price, and recommend commercial credit solutions that fit client needs.
• Underwrite loan requests and submit complete loan packages to credit partners.
• Grow and service an assigned commercial loan portfolio.
• Collaborate with treasury management, capital markets, wealth, and retail teams to deepen relationships.
