Job summary

First Horizon Bank in Coral Gables seeks Commercial Relationship Managers to nurture client relationships with high-revenue organizations. You will assist in achieving business goals, supporting a wide array of loans, and delivering superior service while balancing risk and credit decisions.

The role requires coordinating with underwriting teams, analyzing credit strength, structuring loans, and driving portfolio revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 6–8 years of experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in syndicated loans and middle market lending in the South Florida market
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Responsibilities

• Expand existing client relationships to generate incremental revenue and develop new clients with acceptable returns for the bank
• Collaborate with Management and Underwriters to analyze credit strengths/weaknesses and make loan recommendations; structure loans to protect the bank
• Coordinate with Management to recognize client needs and match them with bank capabilities
• Maintain knowledge of lending policies and regulatory requirements
• Gather financials for opportunities and prepare memos for underwriting
• Work with underwriters to ensure accurate reflection of financials and risk models
• Coordinate deal team meetings and finalize term sheets to meet client and bank needs
• Monitor portfolio health and alert management to deteriorating conditions
• Ensure adherence to covenants and perform other duties as assigned
