Zusammenfassung

Equinix, a global digital infrastructure leader, seeks an experienced Commercial Manager to oversee pre‑construction procurement, budgeting and cost management for major expansion projects across the AMER region. You will coordinate with Design, Construction, Procurement, Finance and Legal to drive down costs and manage contract risk.

In this role you will develop RFPs, manage third‑party consultants and contractors, prepare budgets, and provide monthly financial reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, business, financial or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a Commercial Management role at senior level.
• Data center experience preferred and mission critical facility knowledge.
• RICS accreditation preferred.
• Detail oriented with accurate input and proofreading.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills.
• Excel, Power BI and cost-management tool skills.

Aufgaben

• Pre‑Contract procurement of third‑party consultants including design, commercial and pre‑construction services.
• Development of detailed RFPs and service deliverables for commercial management services.
• Day-to-day management of third‑party commercial consultants to ensure timely delivery.
• Development of GC and supplier procurement strategies with CM team.
• Prepare General Contractor contracts, including negotiation of terms.
• Prepare budgets for design stages and present to senior management.
• Monitor budgets, cost data, and risk across projects.
• Lead commercial risk management and change evaluation efforts.
• Provide CIP data to Finance and manage cashflow forecasts.
• Produce monthly cost reports on budget, cashflow, risk and changes.
