Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Director of Commercial Management to oversee commercial management across its regional expansion construction projects. You will drive down costs, ensure financial controls and reporting, manage major contract risks, and lead the broader design and construction program for business case preparation.

Responsibilities include budget oversight, cost modeling, procurement guidance, contract policy, and risk management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience ideally in data center or mission critical system design and construction and costing.
• Bachelor's degree in construction, business, financial or related field preferred.
• RICS Accreditation preferred.
• Royal Institute Chartered Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic oversight for planning and monitoring construction projects from start to completion.
• Monitors the financial close-out on all projects including settlement of vendors.
• Reports status to senior management and develops commercial metrics.
• Drives cost management, risk assessment and change evaluation.
• Leads regional Commercial Management team and trains staff.
