Job summary

Axos Bank is seeking a Senior Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist to manage complex loan portfolios including foreign currency transactions. You will ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and high-quality service throughout the loan lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in commercial loan servicing, strong Excel skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff while coordinating with internal partners and external banks. This is a full-time role based in San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in commercial loan servicing or related fields.
• Experience with FX-related transactions or foreign currency loan servicing is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and understanding of loan documentation and servicing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Administer and service complex commercial loan portfolios with high accuracy.
• Lead servicing of foreign currency loan transactions and cross-border settlements.
• Review and process domestic and international wire transfers per policy and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex servicing issues and mentor junior staff.
• Facilitate loan modifications and escrow disbursements with proper documentation.
