Job summary

Florida Credit Union in Gainesville seeks a Commercial Loan Operations Manager to oversee loan administration, including supervising two Closers and leading construction management for draws, inspections, and disbursements. The role requires sharp attention to detail and deep knowledge of regulatory requirements.

You will liaise with Relationship Managers, Credit Analysts, attorneys, and vendors to ensure precise and timely loan closings and ongoing servicing while maintaining audit readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 5+ years in commercial loan administration or banking operations with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial loan documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross‑departmental collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise two Commercial Loan Closers and provide training and feedback.
• Oversee commercial loan construction management, budgets, draws, inspections and disbursements.
• Review loan documentation for completeness and regulatory compliance prior to closing.
• Serve as primary contact for borrowers, attorneys, title companies, contractors, inspectors.
• Develop procedures, checklists, and quality control for loan administration.
• Ensure loan files are properly documented and compliant with audits.
• Identify efficiency improvements in loan administration and construction management.
• Support senior leadership by facilitating smooth underwriting to closing transitions.
• Provide ongoing training on systems, policies, and regulatory updates.
• Lead HMDA reporting for commercial loans and oversee regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate documentation for audits and regulatory exams.
