Job summary

First Financial Bank is seeking a Senior Commercial Loan Coordinator to serve as a liaison between Underwriting and Sales in Indianapolis. The role oversees loan processing, ensures accuracy of files, and coordinates materials to UW.

Mentors staff, supports large loans, and helps refine processing workflows with leaders. The position emphasizes independent work, strong Excel use, and effective communication with borrowers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years Lending or Insurance industry experience.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Excel proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

• Review loan files for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with Loan Coordinators to obtain required documents.
• Train and mentor Loan Coordinator for independent processing.
• Coordinate closing with Underwriter, LO, and borrower; generate loan documents.
• Provide backup support to Sales & Underwriting as needed.
• Assist in developing processes for loans >$1M+ with Senior Loan Advisor/UW.
• Support commission redirect/assignment processes with borrowers and carriers.
