Job summary

The role assembles materials, obtains missing data, coordinates closings, and supports the team on large loans (> $1M) while mentoring junior staff and maintaining client relationships. Strong organization and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years Lending or Insurance industry experience.
• Able to work independently and aggressively to accomplish objectives and meet deadlines.
• Able to communicate and work efficiently internally and with borrowers.
• Excel proficiency is required.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review loan files for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with Loan Coordinator to gather documents and information.
• Train and mentor Loan Coordinator to be self-sufficient in processing.
• Collaborate with Senior Loan Advisor, Senior UW, and Legal Counsel on processing requirements for large loans (>$1M).
• Support Underwriting by cross-training for the UW position.
• Facilitate commission-related processes with borrowers and carriers.
• Coordinate closingProcess with Underwriter, LO, and customer; prepare loan documents post-approval.
• Provide backup for Sales & Underwriting team with file reviews as needed.
• Contribute to initiatives to improve department performance.
