Job summary

First Financial Bank is seeking a Senior Loan Coordinator to serve as a liaison between Underwriting and Sales, coordinating loan processing and ensuring document accuracy for a wide range of files.

Responsibilities include assembling materials for underwriting, obtaining missing data from borrowers, and coordinating closing steps with underwriters, LOs, and customers while supporting the Sales & Underwriting teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years Lending or Insurance industry experience
• Able to work independently and aggressively to accomplish objectives and meet deadlines
• Able to communicate and work efficiently internally and with borrowers
• Excel proficiency is required
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Review loan files for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with Loan Coordinator to obtain documents and necessary information from borrowers.
• Train and mentor Loan Coordinator to be self-sufficient in processing.
• Develop processing requirements for loans in excess of $1M+ with Senior Loan Advisor, Senior UW and Legal Counsel.
• Provide backup for the Underwriting team with file reviews as needed.
• Coordinate closing process with Underwriter, LO, and customer, including generation of loan documents.
• Support Sales & Underwriting team to meet goals and directives.
