Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to support the account team, coordinate with the Producer and AM/AE, and ensure quality service. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely renewals, and proactive client support across commercial lines.

You will manage policy documents, assist with submissions and pricing, and help maintain carrier relationships while upholding IOA values and policies. A strong customer service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related policy documents.
• Support new and renewal business: gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, bind coverage, and follow up for issuance.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections.
