Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, producer, and assigned accounts while ensuring quality and compliant service.

Under supervision of an Account Manager or Producer, you will handle policy renewals, endorsements, submissions, and client research, developing expertise in transportation coverages and carrier interactions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, CISR preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of support staff and account team.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, and related tasks.
• Support new and renewal business through submissions, proposals, and coverages.
• Review contracts for proper coverages.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
