Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to support the account team remotely (Eastern/Central Time Zones). You'll work with the AM/AE/Producer, handling renewals, submissions, and client inquiries, ensuring accuracy and timely service.

You’ll manage policy endorsements, review contracts, monitor expirations, and maintain agency systems. The role emphasizes proactive service, strong communication, and collaboration with teammates to uphold IOA’s standards

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CISR designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and workflow of team support and account staff.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, and related tasks.
• Support new and renewal business: research clients, submissions, proposals, bind coverage.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor and maintain activity/suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain frequent, transparent communication with the account team.
• Deliver proactive service and respond quickly to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek continuous improvement and champion IOA values.
