The Jonus Group is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager in Charlottesville, VA. The ideal candidate will manage a portfolio of sophisticated middle-market accounts, drive renewal strategies, and negotiate with insurers to optimize client outcomes.

Remote work options are available; local candidates are preferred with in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays. Qualified candidates from nearby states will be considered for the right fit with flexible arrangements.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license is required.
• Minimum 5 years in middle-market commercial account management.
• Experience owning large multi-line accounts preferred.
• AMS360 proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of sophisticated middle-market commercial accounts (premiums $150k–$2M).
• Develop and execute renewal strategies; negotiate with insurers and market, as needed.
• Conduct contractual reviews and ensure comprehensive property & casualty coverage.
• Serve as primary client contact, maintaining relationships and delivering excellent service.
• Collaborate with analysts and support staff for seamless account management.
• Present insurance solutions to senior client leadership with confidence.
• Leverage AI and innovative tools to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
