Job summary

The Jonus Group seeks an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing independent agency. The role emphasizes servicing commercial accounts, managing client relationships, and marketing, with remote work opportunities.

You will collaborate with producers, oversee AAMs, market accounts to carriers, and ensure high-quality service using Applied EPIC. A strong background in commercial insurance and renewals is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial lines account management.
• Active P&C insurance license required.
• Proficiency in Applied EPIC or similar agency management software.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products across industries.
• Experience with marketing, renewals, and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a diverse portfolio of commercial lines accounts.
• Handle day-to-day account servicing: policy reviews, renewals, endorsements, and new business quoting.
• Collaborate with producers to develop and implement client strategies.
• Delegate tasks to Assistant Account Managers as needed.
• Market accounts to carriers and negotiate terms and pricing.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication.
• Conduct reviews to identify gaps and recommend solutions.
• Maintain accurate records using agency software.
• Ensure timely processing of policy changes and renewals.
