Job summary

The Jonus Group is seeking a Senior Commercial Lines Account Executive to manage a portfolio of large commercial insurance accounts across real estate, construction, and hospitality. This role emphasizes high‑touch client service, strong relationship management, and proactive coverage guidance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in commercial lines, holds an active P&C license, and can renew and cross‑sell within an established book.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• 10+ years of commercial lines experience.
• Experience managing large accounts in real estate, construction, or hospitality.
• Strong relationship management and high-touch client service.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to renew policies and identify cross-selling opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a portfolio of large commercial accounts across real estate, construction, hospitality, and related industries.
• Serve as primary client contact, delivering high-touch service and maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Oversee the renewal process with timely policy reviews, coverage recommendations, and renewals.
• Collaborate with customer service, marketing, and other internal teams for seamless account management.
• Provide strategic guidance and identify coverage solutions based on client needs and risk exposures.
• Review existing policies and recommend coverage enhancements for comprehensive protection.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities, including personal lines and life insurance where appropriate.
• Communicate with carriers to negotiate terms, resolve issues, and secure competitive solutions.
• Proactively address client inquiries and service needs to maintain satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain accurate client records and policy documentation.
