Job summary

HUB International is seeking a Commercial Account Manager in the Traverse City area. You will manage a book of business exceeding $500k in revenue, retain clients through exceptional service, and collaborate with a team of Producers and Sr. Account Managers. Strong communication and P&C licensing are essential.

The role supports the Midwest-East region with opportunities for mentoring colleagues and contributing to continuous process improvements within a dynamic insurance brokerage environment.

Qualifications

• High School Degree, or Equivalent.
• 3-5+ years in a Commercial Lines role on the agency side.
• Experience in middle market with accounts averaging $15k+ revenue.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong communication.
• P&C License.
• Willingness to travel, on occasion.

Responsibilities

• Manages a book of business generally in excess of $500k in revenue.
• Provide quality customer service to existing accounts with a goal of 93% retention or more.
• Collaborate with Producers, Sr. Account Managers, and Associate Account Managers.
• Mentor and train junior team members as applicable.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of client information in EPIC.
• Handle special projects and other duties as assigned.
