Qualifications

• Licensed Property and Casualty professional required.
• Minimum 5 years account management experience in the insurance industry with commercial lines focus.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus or required in some locations.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main client contact, advising on coverage changes and policy requirements.
• Develop strategic insurance plans tailored to client needs.
• Act as field underwriter and carrier representative for binding coverage.
• Manage renewals and client proposals with timely quotations.
• Prepare loss evaluations and risk analyses for client submissions.
• Explain billing options and produce binders, certificates, and policies.
• Assist in first notice of loss and coordinate with carriers and claims team.
• Review renewals/audits for accuracy and address discrepancies with clients.
• Retain accounts by addressing cancellation requests and adding value.
• Stay updated on market developments, new products, and tech advances.
• Recommend process improvements and adopt new technology to enhance service.
• Handle other assigned duties as needed.
