Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Senior Account Associate for Commercial Lines. The role supports the account team, producer, and assigned accounts, ensuring renewals, submissions, and client correspondence are handled with accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing; CISR preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist and Account Assistant.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed on time.
• Process endorsements, audits, cancellations, renewals, invoices and certificates.
• Support new and renewal business: submissions, coverages, pricing, proposals, bindings.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team.
